Biografie

Jakob Heier is research group leader at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) and is heading the printing activities in the Coating Competence Center at Empa. Before he was holding different positions in academia and industry. Jakob Heier studied physics at the University of Konstanz (Germany) and received a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University (US).
