Together sustainable for a greener future!

Benefits of the GoGreen-Ticket

Consciously avoiding emissions

In addition to the GoGreen CO₂ Ticket, there will be other opportunities for you to avoid emissions, save raw materials and protect the environment during your visit to productronica 2025.

Act sustainably on site

  • Bring reusable cups or bottles that you can fill up for free at our water stations.
  • Choose regional, seasonal, and ideally vegetarian dishes and meals. This saves CO₂.
  • You do not have to bring your ticket printed out! It is sufficient if you scan the ticket on your cell phone at the entrance. There you will receive a badge. This way you save paper.
  • Use the time on site purposefully and intensively. Take the opportunity that the industry is on site and make as many business contacts as possible at the fair. This will save you having to travel individually to meet customers, partners and service providers.
  • Which flyers, brochures and catalogs do you really need? Information such as the hall plan, exhibitor list, lecture program and much more can be found conveniently and quickly in the productronica event app or in the productronica exhibitor directory. The information can be used optimally both in preparation and on site thanks to the WLAN we provide free of charge. This can reduce the printing of brochures and flyers and save material for the benefit of the environment.
  • Only take sustainable or environmentally friendly giveaways with you from the trade show, if at all.
  • Did you receive a lanyard? Feel free to use it for your next trade show visit. The more often they are reused, the fewer lanyards need to be produced.

Environmentally friendly infrastructure

  • Climate-friendly travel: The productronica-Bahn special event ticket enables you to travel with low emissions. Thanks to seamless connections between the trade fair center and Munich's public transport system, you'll always be right in the middle of the action. This not only protects the environment, but also your wallet.
  • Form car pools if you are traveling by car.
  • Green refueling on site: 110 stations are available on the exhibition grounds for charging your electric vehicle.

Everyone can make their contribution to climate protection, including you as a visitor to productronica.

CO₂ emissions are released by the travel of our visitors. With the GoGreen Ticket, we are offering the opportunity to contribute to climate protection for the greenhouse gas emissions produced. This climate protection contribution of 5 EUR is invested in three high-quality myclimate climate protection projects that meet the highest standards (Gold Standard, Plan Vivo) and demonstrably make a positive contribution to sustainable development locally and regionally. Let us walk the path to a greener future together.

How you support climate protection with the GoGreen Ticket

Benefits of the GoGreen-Ticket

Support for sustainable, renowned climate protection projects

With your GoGreen climate protection contribution, you are actively contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and to sustainable development locally and regionally. Your contribution to climate protection goes directly into three high-quality myclimate climate protection projects, the development of which you can follow transparently.

High visibility as a green visitor thanks to your GoGreen Badge

As a green visitor, you will draw other visitors’ attention to the importance of climate protection and literally become an ambassador for the myclimate climate protection projects.

These projects were supported at productronica 2023

The travel of our visitors causes CO2 emissions. With the GoGreen Ticket for productronica 2023, we offered the opportunity to make a contribution to climate protection for the resulting greenhouse gas emissions. This climate protection contribution of 5 euros was invested in three high-quality myclimate carbon offset projects that meet the highest standards (Gold Standard, Plan Vivo) and demonstrably make a positive contribution to local and regional sustainable development. The following carbon offset projects were supported with the GoGreen ticket.

Project type: Land Use and Forestry

Project location: Deutschland, Freistaat Bayern

Project status: In operation, regional climate protection without entitlement to CO2 emissions reduction certificates

Annual CO₂ reduction: Ca. 13,500 t CO2e bis 2050

Situation without project: Forest conversion of lower speed

The installation of domestic biogas plants substitutes the use of firewood and chemical fertilizers in the Karnataka region. In addition to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and less degradation of the forest people directly profit from higher crop yields and less indoor pollution. Moreover, the project will also reduce methane emissions from cattle manure.

Situation without project:
Using firewood and kerosene for cooking

Yearly CO₂ reduction:
45,650 t

Your support contributes to the following 11 Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG 1 - No poverty
The use of slurry (organic fertilizer produced by the farmers themselves) helps to prevent small farmers from becoming dependent on chemical fertilizers, thus improving their families’ financial situation.

SDG 2 - Zero hunger
To date, the biogas systems have produced 301,534 tons of organic fertilizer and thus reduced 6,130 tons of chemical fertilizer, thus contributing to sustainable agriculture.

SDG 3 - Good health and well-being
50,000 persons have benefited from better air quality since the start of the project.

SDG 4 - Quality education
Because the time-consuming collection of firewood is no longer necessary, children have more time to go to school and do homework. This gives each family almost 1.2 hours of additional time per day.

SDG 5 - Gender equity
Only women are entitled to buy and own a biogas plant. This helps to level out the balance of power in the family and to strengthen the position of the women.

SDG 7 - Affordable and clean energy
8,033 biogas digesters have been installed since the start of the project.

SDG 8 - Decent work and economic growth
22 permanent jobs have been created for the local population and more than 8,000 people have been trained in the use of biogas plants.

SDG 12 - Responsible consumption and production
The recycling of organic waste contributes to sustainable waste management.

SDG 13 - Climate actions
Each biogas biodigester avoids 6.5 t CO₂ and reduced wood consumption by 3.7 t per year.

SDG 15 - Life on land
To date, the program has reduced wood consumption by 221,054 tons and has thus saved 3,028 hectares of forest from deforestation.

SDG 17 - Partnerships for the goals
The program enables the transfer, dissemination and implementation of environmentally friendly technologies in India

The primary objective of the program is to disseminate water purification systems to low-income households and institutions such as schools, starting in Uganda. Carbon finance is used to give households access to the clean water technologies thereby improving the livelihoods and health conditions of thousands of people and at the same time reducing CO₂ emissions by reducing the consumption of non-renewable firewood and charcoal.

Situation without project:
Water purification by boiling with non-renewable wood and charcoal

Yearly CO₂ reduction:
61.399 t

Your support contributes to the following 8 Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG 1 - No poverty
Over 130 tons of firewood can be saved by a school on average per water filtration system.

SDG 3 - Good Health
More than 210,000 pupils benefit from the installed systems.

SDG 4 - Quality Education
Thanks to clean drinking water, pupils are ill less often and can attend school more regularly.

SDG 6 - Clean water and sanitary facilities
One school can treat 457,000 litres of drinking water per year.

SDG 12 - Responsible consumption and production
354 water filter tanks and water treatment filters have been installed so far.

SDG 13 - Climate Actions
50,000 tonnes of CO₂ are saved per year.

SDG 15 - Life on land
1,266 hectares of forest saved from deforestation.

SDG 17 - Partnerships for the goals
Development, transfer and distribution of environmentally friendly water treatment technology.
