Everyone can make their contribution to climate protection, including you as a visitor to productronica 2023. You can support climate protection projects by purchasing your trade fair ticket.
CO2 emissions are released by the travel of our visitors. With the GoGreen Ticket, we are offering the opportunity to contribute to climate protection for the greenhouse gas emissions produced. This climate protection contribution of 5€ is invested in three high-quality myclimate climate protection projects that meet the highest standards (Gold Standard, Plan Vivo) and demonstrably make a positive contribution to sustainable development locally and regionally.
Let us walk the path to a greener future together.
With your GoGreen climate protection contribution, you are actively contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and to sustainable development locally and regionally.
Your contribution to climate protection goes directly into three high-quality myclimate climate protection projects, the development of which you can follow transparently.
GoGreen Tickets do not consume any additional resources.
As a green visitor, you will draw other visitors’ attention to the importance of climate protection and literally become an ambassador for the myclimate climate protection projects.
Set a good example – for climate protection.
Use our posting suggestion to draw the attention of colleagues, acquaintances and friends to the GoGreen ticket.

I’m supporting GoGreen and making an contribution to climate protection for the CO2 emissions of my journey to productronica in Munich from November 14 to 17, 2023.
Climate change poses a tremendous challenge to us as a society and requires us to take responsible action – both as private individuals and a community at large. At Messe München, we have been working for years to reduce our carbon footprint. As part of our efforts, we have set the goal of becoming climate neutral by 2030. Our trade fairs reflect this environmental commitment as well: productronica 2023 has made sustainability one of its primary focal points and will highlight the critically important role that electronics are playing in the development of more environmentally conscious technologies. Of course, we also want to provide our exhibitors, visitors and partners with an opportunity to help us protect the environment by enabling them to purchase a GoGreen ticket here.
In addition to the GoGreen CO₂ Ticket, there will be other opportunities for you to avoid emissions, save raw materials and protect the environment during your visit to productronica 2023.
Your contribution to climate protection is made by supporting the high-quality myclimate climate protection projects, which meet the highest standards (Gold Standard, Plan Vivo) and, in addition to reducing greenhouse gases, demonstrably make a positive contribution to sustainable development locally and regionally. The collected GoGreen climate protection contributions are divided between the following regional and international climate protection projects.
Project type: Land Use and Forestry
Project location: Deutschland, Freistaat Bayern
Project status: In operation, regional climate protection without entitlement to CO2 emissions reduction certificates
Annual CO₂ reduction: Ca. 13,500 t CO2e bis 2050
Situation without project: Forest conversion of lower speed
The installation of domestic biogas plants substitutes the use of firewood and chemical fertilizers in the Karnataka region. In addition to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and less degradation of the forest people directly profit from higher crop yields and less indoor pollution. Moreover, the project will also reduce methane emissions from cattle manure.
Situation without project:
Using firewood and kerosene for cooking
Yearly CO₂ reduction:
45,650 t
Your support contributes to the following 11 Sustainable Development Goals:
SDG 1 - No poverty
The use of slurry (organic fertilizer produced by the farmers themselves) helps to prevent small farmers from becoming dependent on chemical fertilizers, thus improving their families’ financial situation.
SDG 2 - Zero hunger
To date, the biogas systems have produced 301,534 tons of organic fertilizer and thus reduced 6,130 tons of chemical fertilizer, thus contributing to sustainable agriculture.
SDG 3 - Good health and well-being
50,000 persons have benefited from better air quality since the start of the project.
SDG 4 - Quality education
Because the time-consuming collection of firewood is no longer necessary, children have more time to go to school and do homework. This gives each family almost 1.2 hours of additional time per day.
SDG 5 - Gender equity
Only women are entitled to buy and own a biogas plant. This helps to level out the balance of power in the family and to strengthen the position of the women.
SDG 7 - Affordable and clean energy
8,033 biogas digesters have been installed since the start of the project.
SDG 8 - Decent work and economic growth
22 permanent jobs have been created for the local population and more than 8,000 people have been trained in the use of biogas plants.
SDG 12 - Responsible consumption and production
The recycling of organic waste contributes to sustainable waste management.
SDG 13 - Climate actions
Each biogas biodigester avoids 6.5 t CO₂ and reduced wood consumption by 3.7 t per year.
SDG 15 - Life on land
To date, the program has reduced wood consumption by 221,054 tons and has thus saved 3,028 hectares of forest from deforestation.
SDG 17 - Partnerships for the goals
The program enables the transfer, dissemination and implementation of environmentally friendly technologies in India
The primary objective of the program is to disseminate water purification systems to low-income households and institutions such as schools, starting in Uganda. Carbon finance is used to give households access to the clean water technologies thereby improving the livelihoods and health conditions of thousands of people and at the same time reducing CO₂ emissions by reducing the consumption of non-renewable firewood and charcoal.
Situation without project:
Water purification by boiling with non-renewable wood and charcoal
Yearly CO₂ reduction:
61.399 t
Your support contributes to the following 8 Sustainable Development Goals:
SDG 1 - No poverty
Over 130 tons of firewood can be saved by a school on average per water filtration system.
SDG 3 - Good Health
More than 210,000 pupils benefit from the installed systems.
SDG 4 - Quality Education
Thanks to clean drinking water, pupils are ill less often and can attend school more regularly.
SDG 6 - Clean water and sanitary facilities
One school can treat 457,000 litres of drinking water per year.
SDG 12 - Responsible consumption and production
354 water filter tanks and water treatment filters have been installed so far.
SDG 13 - Climate Actions
50,000 tonnes of CO₂ are saved per year.
SDG 15 - Life on land
1,266 hectares of forest saved from deforestation.
SDG 17 - Partnerships for the goals
Development, transfer and distribution of environmentally friendly water treatment technology.
The international initiative with roots in Switzerland is one of the world’s leading partners for effective climate protection. With projects of the highest quality, myclimate promotes measurable climate protection and sustainable development worldwide. Their projects reduce emissions by replacing fossil energy sources with renewable energies, putting in place local reforestation measures with small farmers and implementing energy-efficient technologies. Their experienced consultants help companies in the field of CO₂ and resource management to identify and develop potential. So far, in the more than 140 myclimate climate protection projects, 13.46 million CO₂ have been saved, 18 million trees have been planted and 20,000 jobs have been created.
myclimate label: With the new myclimate label >>Engaged for Impact<< you can actively pursue climate protection and communicate your commitment credibly and transparently. Using the tracking number integrated in the label, on myclimate.org/en you can always see in which myclimate climate protection project the greenhouse gas emissions are offset. This offers the maximum level of transparency and strengthens trust in the commitment.
More information on the new label.
Climate protection contribution: Your contribution to climate protection takes place in the high-quality myclimate climate protection projects, which meet the highest standards (Gold Standard) and, in addition to reducing greenhouse gases, demonstrably make a positive contribution to sustainable development locally and regionally. In this way, myclimate climate protection projects contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Costs incurred: The GoGreen ticket costs 5€ more than the regular entry ticket. The amount is calculated based on the average CO₂ consumption of our visitors arriving and departing from the previous productronica in 2021. Thank you for joining us on the path to a greener future!
