Biography

Klaus Hecker is Managing Director of the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association) at VDMA. The OE-A is the leading international industry association for printed electronics with more 200 members worldwide, representing the entire value chain. He is also responsible for LOPEC – international exhibition and conference for organic and printed electronics. Klaus joined VDMA in Frankfurt Germany, in 2003 as project manager for the planning of an OLED-pilot-production, where he was responsible for technology evaluation, research planning and public funding. Before his affiliation with VDMA, Klaus Hecker worked at the Institute of Microtechnology Mainz GmbH (IMM), responsible for the flat panel display projects. He received his doctorate degree in solid state physics from the University of Cologne.
