Benefits of radiation drying technology compared with conventional drying systems.
By the penetration of high densed energy into layers to be dried and cured, processes can be designed faster, more efficient and energetically more favourable. Furthermore by the combination with process optimized air management by using the heated exhausted air there is an additional advantage due to the carbon dioxide emission.
The applications and range of requirements are changing tremendously. By the use of new materials, substrates and inks there will be new fields of applications and combinations.
Highest energy densities with a balanced temperature regulation are offering especially in the field of “printed electronics” new approaches for advanced machine concepts. The benefits of a deep energy input will reduce the drying time to a minimum, even with different layer thickness.
• Drying and curing of “printed electronics” on different substrates like paper, foils, fabrics and 3D- structures as well
• Fast curing of electronic casting materials based on silicone, polyurethane and resin.
• Drying of functional automotive foils for IMD/FIM
The drying results will be achieved with a lower use of energy, highest efficiency, reduced space and higher process controllability.
The control elements are prepared for the requirements of Industry 4.0 standards.
