Trend in wearable devices is to integrate also biochemical sensing features together with traditional physiological signals(ECG, EEG, EMG,…) measurement. Biochemical sensing gives massive amount of new data from human body during exercise and recovery. This leads to develop novel type of wearable stretchable soft electronics/photonics systems which include both biophysical and biochemical sensing. Key requirements from these systems are conformity to skin deformation, biocompatibility, durability, manufacturability, wear comfort and user experience. In this presentation roll-to-roll (R2R) manufacturing technologies are presented to manufacture stretchable soft electronics devices for biosensing. Several examples including stretchable smart patches, sweat analytics patches and graphene sensors are presented.
