It was an impressive number of innovations which were introduced at productronica 2009.

The Innovation Guide presented a selection: 28 exhibitors introduced samples, projects and processes which went beyond the mere further development of a product or a process technology. are actually helping to ensure that microelectronics can conquer current limits and produce better performance with a smaller area, as demonstrated by photovoltaics, advanced packaging und organic electronics. They lead to increased productivity in well-known production technologies and are suitable as new processes for the production of electronics which will be even more miniaturized and more closely integrated in future. They also show that green electronics is more than a trendy label.
