In conjunction with its partners, once again productronica university will present a program of related events in 2011 that features founded information on the industry’s latest hot topics. The latest developments in electronics production will be presented in a special exhibit, hands-on sessions and a variety of forums.







Review 2009:
 
Among other things productronica 2009 featured the productronica and Innovation Forum, that examined market- and technology-related topics in electronics production, for example micronano production, photovoltaics manufacturing, traceability, technology roadmapping or organic electronics. The forums also included the newly introduced hands-on sessions and the special show entitled “Self-organizing production (SOPRO)”.
 
The more than 100 individual events were extremely attractive and, for this reason, very popular. Visitors rated the program as very good. 90% of them awarded the marks excellent to good. 

In the future, we will add new highlights to each event. Each day of the fair will focus on and pay special attention to a different sector. Each sector is selected based on current and future industry developments, its growing importance and the role it plays in the manufacturing process or showcasing new markets.

Highlight themes 2011:

• Photovoltaics manufacturing
  The global upswing of photovoltaics markets is causing demand for machines to increase and putting manufacturers of photovoltaics manufacturing equipment at the center of attention.

• Manufacturing software
  Efficiency in manufacturing, improved quality and traceability are just a few examples of things that have become possible thanks to manufacturing software such as MES, ERP, etc.

• Electronic manufacturing services
  Outsourcing in times of anticipated bottlenecks and promising new branches of business are increasing the demands that the EMS industry places on productronica.

• Organic und Printed Electronics
  This is a developing industry with growth that will become noticeable in the production sector in the future, which is why it needs its own platform at the leading trade fair for electronics production.

Review 2009:

The new event for CEOs of internationally operating companies, the munich electronics summit, was held at productronica 2009 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre for the first time and proved to be a success right from the start. The summit featured a CEO Round Table followed by an exclusive private fireside discussion that gave the CEOs of around 40 internationally operating companies the chance to talk about ideas, strategies and future-oriented trends. This meeting of top decision-makers from the industry will be staged annually in future as part of electronica and productronica.
