productronica university:

Under the “productronica University” banner, productronica 2011 will present a varied and full range supporting program that offers profound information about the latest industry themes. It is a program of related events that, instead of taking place on the fringe, are of equal importance and the center of attention. Forums, Hands-on sessions and a special show present everything that sets new standards in electronics production.
 
Among other things productronica 2009 featured the productronica and Innovation Forum, that examined market- and technology-related topics in electronics production, for example micronano production, photovoltaics manufacturing, traceability, technology roadmapping or organic electronics. The forums also included the newly introduced hands-on sessions and the special show entitled “Self-organizing production (SOPRO)”.
 
The more than 100 individual events were extremely attractive and, for this reason, very popular. Visitors rated the program as very good. 90% of them awarded the marks excellent to good. 

munich electronics summit:
The new event for CEOs of internationally operating companies, the munich electronics summit, was held at productronica 2009 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre for the first time and proved to be a success right from the start. The summit featured a CEO Round Table followed by an exclusive private fireside discussion that gave the CEOs of around 40 internationally operating companies the chance to talk about ideas, strategies and future-oriented trends. This meeting of top decision-makers from the industry will be staged annually in future as part of electronica and productronica.
