Efficient production management for optimized process control
continues to increase in importance in electronics manufacturing.
There is a great deal of demand for two types of solutions in the electronics manufacturing sector:
On the one hand, companies are demanding transparency of all
critical functions and processes in the manufacturing process. This covers everything from plant monitoring and real-time visualization of process data to key-performance indicators to assess the performance of production and reporting systems or allow them to quickly identify deviations from target values in the production process or the supply
structure. The electronics industry is also being driven by
increasingly stricter and more comprehensive quality and compliance
requirements. When it comes to implementing these requirements, the
production process in particular faces great challenges. The need
for seamless quality verification continues to increase in the entire
network – from component suppliers to the final customer – and in
some cases it even includes repairs and recalls.
